「What’s that got to do with the price of fish?」＝「What’s that go to do with what we are talking about?」
だと言っていました。
また、以前に紹介した「What’s that got to do with anything?」と同じ意味合いになります。
でもここで疑問が出るかと思います。
「What's that got to do with anything?」と同じ意味なら、なぜ「What’s that got to do with the price of fish?」と最後を「with anything?」ではなく、「with the price of fish?」にするのでしょうか？
