使うタイミング
誰かに対して、自分が「そこに向かっているところです。」と言いたい時。
やり取りイメージ

Felicity ： We are at the pub. Where are you now?
（みんなパブにいるけど、今どこにいるの？）
Kenneth ： I'm on the way.
（そこに向かっている途中です。）

今日のフレーズは、決まり文句です。
「〇〇に向かっているところです。」と言いたい時に使えます。
「I'm on the way」 の後に「to」 を付けて
行き先を明確にすることもできます。
例えば、このような使い方ができます。
I'm on the way to work.
（通勤途中です。）
I'm on the way to school.
（登校中です。）
I'm on the way home.
（帰宅途中です。）
I'm on the way to the station.
（駅に向かっている途中です。）
I'm on the way to the airport.
（空港に向かっている途中です。）
ちなみに、
「I'm on the way.」 と
「I'm on my way.」は同じ意味です。
注意点としては、
「I'm on my way.」は
主語に合わせて「my」 の部分を変える必要があります。
例えば、
He is on his way.
She is on her way.
といった具合です。
「on the way」の場合は、
主語が「He」でも「She」でも
「on the way」のままでOKです。
例えば、
He is on the way.
She is on the way.
となります。
